Australia is home to 83 of the 87 known Leptospermum species worldwide. This variety of species plus Australia’s warmer climate enable the bees to produce honey with higher amounts of bio-active components methylglyoxal (MGO). Nature’s Way uses flower honey harvested from Leptospermum polygalifolium – the Manuka flower. Each batch are individually tested to certified the levels of MGO and purity of the honey.
